In renovating a former auto showroom into the Virginia Woof Dog Daycare Center, designers, contractors and facility officials were concerned that it would be difficult to find a floor covering to meet all of the performance and design requirements of the center. Moving away from the existing concrete, the group decided it needed flooring that offered comfort and stability to animals and trainers alike, while handling all the foot traffic, offering an efficient maintenance regimen and eliminating odors commonly associated with dog daycare facilities. With guidance from the designer and flooring contractor, the director selected norament® hammered for the dog play and exercise areas. The results have been very successful, as animals are enjoying a safe and comfortable play area while the director has found the flooring to be easy to clean--even with constant traffic from shedding and slobbering dogs.
