D.J. Montague Elementary School

During the renovation process at D.J. Montague Elementary School, facility officials knew they wanted to replace the existing carpeting with a flooring product that could be maintained more efficiently and would look great. Architects brought in samples, and based on their strong recommendation, supplemented by positive reports from neighboring schools, school officials decided to install nearly 28,000 square feet of norament^® grano in corridors, entryways, classrooms and cafeterias. The custodial staff has been pleasantly surprised by how easy the flooring is to maintain and how its bright appearance has motivated elementary school children. Teachers and staff, who have also stated how much they like the appearance of the flooring, rave about the comfort it provides and its ability to help deaden the noise, keeping the facility quiet and conducive to learning. School district officials were so pleased with the look and performance of the flooring that they decided to install nora at another school in their district, nearby Lafayette High School.
