VSO De Atlas
RENN4 The Atlas is a neutral special school, in which the students are central. The school provides education for young people aged 12 to 20 with behavioral problems and / or psychiatric problems. They have difficulties with learning and are difficult to educate. The problems often have to do with behavior, lack of concentration and difficulties in following at a 'normal' school.
Challenge:
The owner wanted a building that does not over-stimulate the students and that ensures a quiet learning environment. So the main reason to opt for rubber floor covering was the pleasant acoustics which is very important for special education.
