CITADIS – A Story of Success rubber

A revival of tramways is taking place all over the world. Today’s vehicles, however, have nothing in common with the well known old-fashioned tram. Nowadays design- orientated vehicles are dominating cities in Europe and all over the world.

Successful supplier in this growing market is the French manufacturer ALSTOM, who is offering with the CITADIS a complete vehicle system enabling the operator to adapt the vehicle exactly to his individual needs.

A perfect exterior design needs a corresponding interior outfitting: in most of the CITADIS tramways nora rubber floor coverings are installed. Contacts and negotiations with designers and the manufacturer are handled through our French sales organisation in Les Ulis, Paris.

The vehicles for Paris, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Nice and ten other cities in France are manufactured at the ALSTOM facilities in La Rochelle-Aytré and Barcelona and have been equipped with noraplan plus and noraplan stone.

Also in Dublin, on the Canarian island Tenerife, in the Dutch city of Ranstadt, in Jerusalem, Tunis and Istanbul as well as in Darmstadt and Gera in Germany passengers enjoy the ride in a CITADIS tram with nora rubber floor coverings.
