Canteens and cafeterias

Cafeterias, staff restaurants, canteens and break rooms play an important role in any company. They are designed to invite staff to relax and unwind. A well-developed culture of coffee breaks and lunch breaks also encourages exchange between colleagues, improves the working atmosphere and has a multitude of positive effects on the productivity of the entire company.

So it is vital to create a space in which your staff can relax during breaks, that encourages conversation and that shows your appreciation for your employees. You can create the ideal basis for a motivating, feel-good oasis by using attractive design, high-quality materials and a harmonious colour scheme. Robust, stain-resistant and easy-to-clean products will preserve the decor for as long as possible.

Floors must be extremely durable and robust and must be very safe to walk on to be suitable for canteens, staff restaurants or break rooms. These are often very high-traffic areas in which spills and accidents are not uncommon. The surfaces of nora rubber floors (slip resistance rating R9 – R11) provide excellent slip resistance in canteens. Spilled liquids such as coffee, tea or juice can be easily mopped up. Easy and economical everyday cleaning is a further plus. The floors are also ideal for use in canteens as they are largely resistant to oils and greases.
