A trip into the blue

Every year the Pantone Color Institute nominates a new trend colour of the year. It should reflect the spirit of the times and set the tone for 12 months in numerous sectors such as fashion or interior design. While Living Coral was chosen in 2019 as an extravagant, invigorating colour, this year's Classic Blue was chosen for a more calm and timeless tone.

The classic blue has always stood for peace, harmony and security. The colour has a relaxing effect on us so that we can better order and structure ourselves. Classic Blue can be easily integrated into interiors, transforming them into places of peace and harmony.

Classic Blue: Pantone trend colour of the year 2020 - collage and inspirations for floorings

From azure to marine

You can also set accents in blue with our rubber floor coverings, which contribute to a relaxed room atmosphere. This is because our colour range includes soft and light shades as well as intensive colours. The intensive shades provide for inner reflection and also convey a feeling of sovereignty, strength, reliability and trust. Colours like these are found in nora rubber floor coverings, for instance in the famous round pastille norament 926 or in our floorcovering norament satura. Light blue tones, on the other hand, stand for liberating the mind and give us a feeling of cool, stimulating freshness. Here, too, we have corresponding colours in our range, such as noraplan unita or valua.
