Using environmental assessment methods on buildings for public benefit.

noraplan standard floor coverings are certified by BRE Certification Limited, which is part of the BRE Trust, a charitable company whose objectives are to advance knowledge, innovation and communication in all matters concerning the built environment for public benefit.

noraplan floorings achieved the BRE ‘A' rating according to the Green Guide to Specification. 'A' rated products represent good environmental performance — the best rating a product can receive. This means that when a customer chooses to use 'A' rated products, they are reducing the environmental impact of the building when it is assessed under BRE Environmental Assessment Method.

BRE is regarded by the UK’s construction and property sectors as the measure for best practice in environmental design and management, and its success can be attributed to its unique ability to cover a wide range of environmental issues within one assessment.
