Saving time maintaining floors in the new South Tower at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN, was a major priority for Housekeeping Manager Tom Collins. Stripping and waxing areas throughout the facility had become a substantial and time-consuming burden for his staff, as it would sometimes interfere with other members of the hospital, no matter how they tried to work the schedule.
