MOB x-ray rooms with nora static-dissipative rubber flooring

Static Dissipative

In a medical office or clinic, if electrostatic charges are not dissipated in a controlled way, they can cause failures of electronic equipment and indication errors in measuring devices. These forces can cause problems in rooms where measurements are made or electronic equipment is being used.

To avoid these problems, nora offers conductive (up to 106 ohm) or static dissipative floor coverings (106 ohm to 109 ohm). In sensitive areas, our ed- and ec-floor covering solutions protect electrical equipment and also have the advantage of minimum charging propensity (<10V).

Antistatic floor coverings are advised, even where dissipation of charges is not needed. We also offer insulating floor coverings (coverings with a resistance of more than 109 ohm) as further protection against electrostatic discharge in your facility.
