Important: On raised-access floors, the tile elements are not installed in a completely leak-proof way but are only installed joint to joint. The usual wet cleaning procedures may therefore not be applied!
Ventilation plates:
Special care must be taken during cleaning in the vicinity of these plates.
Initial cleaning
1. Remove any loose dirt by dry vacuum cleaning. Remove any adhering dirt with a damp wiping mop.
2. Spray-cleaner method
Apply the cleaning agent to the flooring surface using a hand spray can or a spray device on a single-disc cleaning machine or polishing vacuum cleaner (e.g. TASKI Omnisystem) and then work it in with a red cleaner pad. If the pad starts to smudge, turn it or replace it by a new one.
Having cleaned the surface, re-polishing, if required, is possible using a single-disc cleaning machine or polishing vacuum cleaner and polishing pad (white or yellow).
Cleaning agents:
Special spray cleaning agents or cleaning agents suitable for spray cleaning are to be used.
For proper use please read the product descriptions of the manufacturer.
The conductive properties of our floorcoverings may not be adversely affected by the polishing agents. Please contact the corresponding manufacturer of cleaning agents to clarify the suitability of the product.
Routine cleaning
1. Damp-wipe with spray-damp or especially prepared cleaning agent textiles (gauze cloth) or with a thoroughly wrung-out mop with double wringer bucket and press.
2. Dry-polish in regular intervals using a polishing vacuum cleaner (soft brush or pad).
Intermediate cleaning
Thorough intermediate cleaning should be performed after longer intervals, depending on requirement. Please follow the steps as described in initial cleaning.
