noraplan® standard floorings are the first resilient floorcoverings to be awarded the Blue Angel under the new UZ 120 qualification guidelines. In the meantime the Blue Angel has also been awarded to noraplan® floorings with the new cleanguard® plus surface.
nora systems has certification to DIN EN ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and certification to the international
DIN EN ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System).
nora systems has also been one of the first manufacturers of elastic floorcoverings which in 1996 passed a voluntary verification of the environmental management system pursuant to regulation (EEC) 1836/93 and was registered in the EMAS register, number DE-S-153-00016. The objective of this all-European regulation is to promote a process of continuous improvement of environmental protection by companies and to strengthen the industry's own responsibility to realize measures to protect the environment.
In June 2004 nora systems introduced the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series
OHSAS 18001 : 1999.
Although OHSAS 18001 is not yet an officially recognised norm, we have already introduced this important management system within the company. With this certification we underline our goal of continuous improvement in the area of occupational work and safety. All of the relevant aspects of occupational work and safety are laid down and documented in OHSAS.
