Twelve times a year you will find here outstanding examples for creatistic operations - as manifold as the buildings around the world. - Project of the month of July: Spectacular inlays in the Escher Museum in Den Haag
The Dutch graphic artist, Maurits Cornelis Escher, above all became famous because of his illustrations of impossible objects. His most familiar artwork deals with the illustration of impossible perspectives, optical illusions, and multistable perception phenomena. What you see in the image above is a room inlay that consists of unbelievable 2505 parts.
- Object of the month of June: Conversion of an old goods shed into a modern office complex in Brilon
The old goods shed at Brilon station should be converted into a modern office complex. Old stylistic elements such as doors or gates should be maintained and at the same time be combined with modern elements. When choosing the floor covering, the architect Wiebke Mielke decided in favour of a grey shade of the noraplan® uni range of colours which looks very elegant in combination with other light grey and white shades of the walls and furniture.

- Project of the month of April: Forensic Psychiatric Centre, Almere, the Netherlands
The Forensic Psychiatric Centre “De Oostvaarderskliniek” started operating on 15 June 2008. “Light, air and view” – this was the credo of the principal “Rijksgebouwendienst” for the Centre, as the architect Martien Jansen declared. Standardisation renders possible long-lasting products and prefabricated building materials provide for a shorter construction time. But the architect Martien Jansen looked beyond the specified requirements and it quickly became obvious why he decided in favour of nora® floorcoverings and steptreads.
- Project of the month of March: Tideway School, Newhaven
Tideway Community School in Newhaven, was a project commissioned by East Sussex Council to provide educational facilities for 11 -16 year olds. The school was nearly devastated by fire in 2005, and has since been rebuilt and refurbished to provide an outstanding modern Technology College for nearly 700 students and reopened in February 2009.
- Project of the month of February: Kindergarten Sighartstein, Austria
The idea was to create a kindergarten that is integrated into the landscape like a chameleon (including a crèche) for 4 groups. The first impression of this place in the midst of green meadows and fields leads to the concept of the built playground. The elevated and abstractly stylized “grass” facade of the cubic building brings a certain harmony to the volume as well as an identity and orientation for the kindergarten...
