A long product lifespan means a long period of utilisation, therefore a conservation of resources by the relatively rare need of renewal and disposal of both nora^® products and the auxiliary materials necessary for installation.

nora^® floorcoverings are extremely tough and wear-resistant. Their extreme long lifespan is far above the average of other resilient floorcoverings. - hence rubber floorcoverings are preferred in areas with heavy traffic.

The closed surface of nora^® rubber floorcoverings permits easy and economic cleaning. The extreme wear-resistance of the floorcoverings offers a series of benefits regarding care and maintenance. There is no need for coating and therefore 

• no formation of pathways
• no flaking or yellowing of the coating
• no disposal problems concerning the cleaning company after stripping.

The quality of the indoor air is becoming increasingly important. nora^® rubber floorcoverings are being emission-tested regularly for several years by independent institutions. Due to the nora^® floorcoverings’ composition the emission of substances in toxic concentrations is prevented.

The toxicological safety of nora^® rubber floorcoverings was tested by the Blue Angel, which is only awarded to low-emission floorcoverings, by the American GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI), by the Institut Fresenius Chemische und Biologische Laboratorien AG, Taunusstein/Germany, and further institutes.
