Production process

nora^® rubber floorcoverings are manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities. In the manufacture great emphasis is placed permanently on the reduction of the resources used. Coolant cycles are applied in order to minimize the use of fresh water; the electric energy and process steam are generated in a power plant in accordance with the principle of highly efficient power/heat linking which is therefore environmentally friendly.

nora^® floorcoverings are manufactured in Germany, where the production processes are subject to the strictest standards which exist in only a few countries of the world. nora systems GmbH is validated according to EMAS, a voluntary auditing process valid throughout the EU. In this connection an Umwelterklärung is published on a regular basis. The company is also certified according to international standards such as ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental managements system).
