nora® rubber floorcoverings, thanks to their outstanding fire-resistant properties,
comply with the most important international fire standards.
They are therefore flame-retardant to DIN 4102/B1 (exceptions are function-entailed).
The floorings do not contain any PVC or halogens. This means that in the event of fire, no hazardous hydrogen-chloride gases,
toxic dioxins or furans are produced.
For some of the floorcoverings, the gases produced in the event of a fire are classified as safe in fire-toxicological
terms under DIN 4102.
Special fire protection qualities can, given the approval of the fire protection authorities concerned, also be used
where non-flammable building materials are required.
The picture shows an ice rink facility after a major fire. The norament® flooring installed here remained almost undamaged.
