Floorcovering for shooting halls
norament® 945 grano (floorcovering for shooting halls) can be
installed loosely, i.e. unbonded, on any level, supporting surface
(according to DIN 18 202, part 5, line 4). Inequalities in the
subfloor have to be levelled correspondingly.
The tiles must acclimatized to the environment for approx.
four days before being installed. The tiles must be
stacked exactly.
Due to the high weight of the tiles, the individual tiles should
be installed by two persons. In doing so, it has to be ensured
that the corners and edges are not bent during installation.
Turned-up corners and edges are to be bend down.
The tiles may be cut using a hand-held circular saw or a compass
saw. For smaller quantities, a wood saw blade may be
used, for larger quantities, Widia blades are recommended.
Important: At the jointing areas, a space of at least 5 mm is
required which is to be filled with foam strip and to be
sealed with silicone.
Joint-sealing: norament® 945 grano is to be joint-sealed
with nora® joint sealing compound at least 5mm of depth.
